| I am the son of a sheet metal worker, and have been around the material as long as I can remember. About ten years ago my interest with metal expanded from fabrication to include sculpture as well. I have been pursuing line, color, and contrast in my work, and am fascinated with the illusions that can be achieved playing with reflected light and the metals' textured surfaces. Music is another powerful force in my life, and one that has been influencial in my work. I enjoy melting, pounding, and fusing these elements into my art. |
